Structured Living Built for Lasting Recovery

Anchor Point Housing Group provides a safe, accountable, and community-driven sober living environment — designed to bridge the gap between clinical treatment and independent life.

What Sober Living at Anchor Point Looks Like

Sober living is not a treatment program — it is a structured residential environment where residents in active recovery live together, hold each other accountable, and rebuild the habits and skills needed for independent life.

At Anchor Point, every resident continues outpatient clinical services while living in our homes. We handle the housing, structure, and peer community. Your treatment team handles the clinical work. Together, we give residents the best possible foundation for lasting sobriety.

The Living Environment

Safe, comfortable homes designed for recovery

Our residences are private homes located in stable, residential neighborhoods. Each home is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and comfort — because the physical environment matters to recovery.

Private & Semi-Private Rooms

Residents have their own personal space within a shared home. Rooms are furnished and move-in ready.

Shared Common Areas

Fully equipped kitchens, living rooms, and outdoor spaces encourage community and connection among residents.

Drug & Alcohol Free

All Anchor Point homes are strictly substance-free. Random drug and alcohol testing is conducted regularly.

Safe Neighborhood Settings

Our homes are located in quiet residential areas — away from high-risk environments and close to community resources.

On-Site House Management

A house manager lives in or regularly visits each residence to maintain structure, enforce house rules, and support residents.

Utilities & Essentials Included

Rent covers utilities, Wi-Fi, and basic household supplies so residents can focus on recovery, not logistics.

House Policies & Expectations

Structure is not punishment — it is the foundation of recovery

All residents agree to and sign our house rules upon move-in. These policies exist to protect the safety, sobriety, and wellbeing of every person in the home.

Sobriety

  • Zero tolerance for alcohol or illegal drug use on or off premises
  • Random drug and alcohol testing at any time, with cause or without
  • Immediate discharge for any confirmed use or possession
  • Prescription medications must be disclosed to house management and stored securely

Outpatient Participation

  • Active enrollment in an outpatient treatment program is required at move-in
  • Residents must attend all scheduled outpatient appointments
  • Any change to outpatient status must be communicated to house management immediately

Curfew & Accountability

  • Curfew is enforced nightly — specific hours are set per house and reviewed at move-in
  • Residents must sign in and out when leaving and returning to the home
  • Overnight absences require advance notice and approval from house management

Community Responsibilities

  • Residents are assigned rotating household chores and are expected to maintain shared spaces
  • Respectful conduct toward all housemates and staff is required at all times
  • Guests must be approved in advance and are not permitted overnight. All guests must identify themselves to the house manager upon arrival and leave a valid form of ID with house management for documentation purposes.
  • Disruptive, threatening, or violent behavior results in immediate discharge

Recovery Participation

  • Attendance at weekly house meetings is mandatory
  • Residents are strongly encouraged to attend 12-step or equivalent peer support meetings
  • Employment, education, or structured volunteering is expected within 30 days of move-in

Program Support & Services

We do more than provide a roof

Daily Accountability Check-Ins

House managers conduct daily check-ins with residents to monitor wellbeing, address concerns early, and reinforce the structure of the program.

Weekly House Meetings

All residents participate in weekly house meetings to discuss community concerns, celebrate milestones, and reinforce shared accountability.

Life Skills Programming

We offer structured programming around budgeting, job readiness, cooking, and other practical skills that support independent living after sober housing.

Employment & Education Support

Our team helps residents identify employment opportunities, prepare for interviews, and connect with educational resources — because purpose is central to recovery.

Peer Community & 12-Step Access

Residents are connected to a peer community of others in recovery. We facilitate access to local 12-step meetings and other peer support groups.

Family Communication

With resident consent, we maintain communication with family members and support systems to keep loved ones informed and involved in the recovery journey.

Clinician Coordination

We maintain open communication with referring treatment facilities and outpatient providers throughout a resident's stay — sharing progress updates and collaborating on care.

Alumni & Aftercare Planning

As residents approach the end of their stay, we work with them and their clinical team to develop a step-down plan — including alumni network access and ongoing peer support.

Medication Policy

Anchor Point Housing Group does not administer, dispense, store, or manage controlled substances or prescription medications on behalf of residents.

Residents who take prescribed medications — including medications for opioid use disorder such as buprenorphine or naltrexone — are responsible for managing their own medications in coordination with their prescribing provider.

All prescription medications must be disclosed to house management at move-in. Medications must be stored securely in the resident's personal space and may not be shared with other residents under any circumstances.

Residents are expected to attend all medication management appointments as part of their outpatient treatment plan. House management will support scheduling and transportation coordination where possible.

Fees & Financial Expectations

Anchor Point Housing Group charges a weekly or monthly program fee that covers rent, utilities, Wi-Fi, and basic household supplies. Specific rates vary by location and room type and are provided during the admissions process.

Sober living is not a clinical service and is generally not covered by health insurance. Residents are responsible for their own program fees. We work with referring facilities and families to identify financial assistance options where available.

A security deposit is required at move-in. Fees are due on a consistent schedule and residents are expected to maintain current payment status throughout their stay.

Beyond the program itself, we actively work with each resident to help establish a stable source of income during their stay. Through employment connections, job readiness coaching, and vocational referrals, we support residents in building financial independence — not just meeting their weekly obligations, but laying the groundwork to sustain their recovery long after they leave Anchor Point.
